Smith, Groat Swap Clubs Monday, November 29th , 1954 The Baltimore Orioles have parted ways with 25-year old LHP Don Ferrarese and 23-year old C Hal Smith in a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates for 24-year old SS Dick Groat and 24-year old LF Roman Mejias. Orioles general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. |
