Boston, Baltimore Trade Players Sunday, October 10th , 1954 Fans in Boston woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 23-year old RHP Tom Brewer to the Baltimore Orioles. In return, the Red Sox will receive 31-year old C John Ritchey. Ritchey has a lifetime .279 batting average and .367 on-base percentage in his 854-game career with 797 hits and 24 home runs. |
