Finigan, Brown Swap Teams Friday, October 29th , 1954 After a week of negotiations, the Athletics and White Sox have come to terms on a deal that will send 26-year old 3B Jim Finigan to Chicago for 29-year old RHP Hal Brown and 19-year old SS Dick Schofield. Finigan is batting .241 with 117 career base hits, including 21 doubles, 4 triples and 7 home runs with 61 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has played in 136 games, stolen 2 bases and compiled a .324 OBP. Brown has authored a 22-11 won-lost record in his career with a 4.07 ERA. |
