Dodgers-Senators Deal: Craig for Lanfranconi Sunday, October 10th , 1954 The Dodgers and Senators pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 24-year old RHP Roger Craig head to Washington in exchange for 37-year old RHP Walt Lanfranconi. A source close to Brooklyn officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." Lanfranconi has 17 saves in his career with a 12-11 record and a 4.07 ERA. |
